Our student centre provides a conducive ambience for our students, which encourages effective learning. Our program is designed to incorporate both formal and informal learning to benefit your child . The main objective of the program is to bring out excellent academic, socio-psychological and to qualitative characteristics of your child. It is a holistic approach adopted during and after class hours. Sengkang Student Care adopts an integrated approach to meet the increasing educational needs of every child. There are many studies conducted by experts clearly indicate that children require nearly a minimum of four hours of informal education versus one hour of formal education.
Our student care service involves a holistic program which incorporates both formal and informal learning.
Our informal learning includes heuristic language building, socialization, inculturation, and play. Informal learning is a persistent and pervasive ongoing phenomena of learning via participation or learning via knowledge creation, in contrast with the traditional view of teacher-centered learning via knowledge acquisition of formal learning.
Research studies have shown that a child requires 4 hours of informal learning for every 1 hour of formal learning. Hence, we aim to strike a balance to provide both forms of learning to your child.
Our formal learning will include homework guidance, tuition classes, enrichment activities, field trips and hands-on experiments to reinforce scientific concepts.
