EduFirst Learning Centre was set up with the aim of
providing a premium education service for our students.
We emphasise a personalised and holistic approach to learning, where students’ individual strengths and weaknesses are identified and addressed. With an extremely small class size of between 4 to 8 students, we seek to maximize the potential of each child. The small group size creates a conducive environment for optimal learning through close teacher to student interaction. Our tutors are carefully handpicked and have gone through stringent selection to ensure that the potential of each child is maximised.

Many children have a fear of their teacher, and the large class sizes in schools can deters them from raising questions. This is the reason why, at EduFirst, we strongly believe in keeping our class size small. Not only does this facilitate a close-knitted relationship between the child and teacher, it also minimises the awkwardness of asking questions. A group of like-minded students learning together will help to motivate and encourage effective group learning.
Our small group size helps to build strong rapport between the child and the teacher, minimizing the power distance and encouraging a child to open up and clarify doubts with their teacher.
A very common problem faced by children is that they have difficulties with their school homework. Because of this, EduFirst offers free homework clinics to our students. Our students can arrange with their tutor to come down to their centre on days where they have no tuition for free homework consultation.
Our team are curriculum specialists made up of experienced tutors and NIE-trained teachers. This ensures that the materials used at the centres are constantly aligned with the MOE syllabus. Our tutors’ vast experience helps them to identify good and challenging questions that ensure our students and well-practiced and well-prepared.
Seeking feedback on your child’s progress is only a WhatsApp and a phone call away! When in doubt, just WhatsApp to find out more about how your child is getting on. You can also contact the centre to share your thoughts and to offer feedback.
Every child is different and their pace of learning varies. This is why, at EduFirst, we do not believe in using a generic approach for all students. Instead, we personalise our teaching. Tutors take time to prepare the materials for each child, ensuring a more effective and individual approach to learning. We identify each child’s difficulties and we target our approach carefully to ensure improvements.
We believe in maximising a child’s potential. But in order to achieve this, we adopt a progressive learning approach. We start by helping your child to build a strong conceptual understanding of the subject/topic. This enables your child to have more confidence to attempt more challenging questions.
Since 2010, we have been offering AEIS/S-AEIS tuition to many students from China, Myanmar, Brunei, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Many of them have been successful in obtaining placements in our local schools.
Our group sizes are small, with a maximum of only 6 students in a class. We are familiar with the syllabus requirements and the type of questions that would be tested during the examination.
With 26 branches islandwide, we have helped thousands of students to prepare successfully for their AEIS examination.
