What is Geography?
Geography is more than just the study of formation of rocks and rivers. It also comprises of the study of natural resources, sources of renewable energy as well as urban development.
Why should you or your child be learning Geography?
Geography is not only taught in secondary schools (as a standalone subject , Pure Geography, or offered together with Social Studies as Elective Geography, but is also offered as an ‘A’ level subject at tertiary institutions such as National Junior College, Nanyang Junior College and other junior colleagues. Students can also pursue polytechnic courses related to geospatial sciences, physical geography, hospitality and tourism management as well as environmental science.

Our geography tuition lessons will focus on helping your child to answer questions on 1) Geographical Investigations (based on Global Tourism, Variable Weather and Changing Climate) 2) Structured Questions (based on Global Tourism, Variable Weather and Changing Climate) 3) Structured Questions (based on Living with Tectonic Hazards and Food Resources)
We will also be using stimulus materials consisting of (but not limited to) topographic and other maps, photographs, diagrams, sketches and texts. Map reading and skills of photograph interpretation, graphic construction, interpretation of data (primary and secondary), and simple descriptive analysis of statistical data may be examined in all sections.
